Welcome to the Faculty of Education Website
The website is meant to offer a quick reference to the hub of activity that characterizes the Faculty of Education.
Each
of the six departments within the Faculty offers a variety of
undergraduate and postgraduate courses aimed at meeting the
ever-changing demands and challenges within our society. Postgraduate
certificates, short courses, in-service training, seminars and public
presentations are further aspects of the rich portfolio of activities
members of staff are constantly engaged in.
In addition to
courses, several members of staff are engaged in research and projects
at a national and international level. This work enables the Faculty to
develop strong contacts with an extensive number of researchers and
scholars across Europe and other countries. The delivery of joint
Master courses, the co-ordination of projects funded by the EU and
other entities, the organization of international conferences and
workshops, and the publication of research articles in refereed
journals are some of the ventures members of staff continue to
participate in.
On behalf of both the academic and
non-academic staff at the Faculty, I would therefore like to extend
this invitation to all to browse through the various sections of the
website, find out what's available and submit suggestions, comments or
requests to help us improve the commitment we have towards the local
and international community.
